Man is the best creature of God. It is the instinctive nature of human being to know the unknown and to see the unseen. He wants to reveal the unknown exploring the realm of knowledge. Here lies the education to find out through object. Without education modern civilization would no have been possible. And for that purpose sirajuddin sarker bidyaniketon was stablished. The people of tongi area delighted to see gradual improvement of the institution to the one of the best school of the locality. It stood its journey with tin shed house. The dream of the founders of the institution is being materialized. Already is has hear turned in to a three storey modern building. Its expansion includes not only its infrastructure but also academic activities. The result of privacy scholarship examination, junior scholarship examination and S.S.C bear testimony to this. All members of the management committee, the headmaster, the assistant Headmistress and all the teachers are trying their best to bring new decision and modernism to managing the school and imputing education. Advice and encouragement from the guardian play vital role. I am proud to be the chairperson of the managing committee of Siraj Uddin Sarker Vidyaniketan.

Tongi, the city of Bishaw Ejtema, is the second largest meeting place of the Muslim Ummah. As it turned into an industrial city with the passage of time and matetialized the dreams of thousands of job seeking people, there rose an emergency to stablish education, Late Sahaj Uddin Sarker, two times elected chairman of Tongi municipality and one of the members of Safiuddin Sarker family, came forward with the assistance of some noble men this combined sincere efforts oucceeded in establishing this institution on the bank of the river Turag in 1987. And it was named Siraj Uddin Sarker Vidyaniketan with unanimous approval of all concerned, after the name of siraj Uddin Sarker, elder brother of Sahaj Uddin Sarker and a great educationist, social worker and politician. This institution had to overcome a lot of obstacles since its establishment to reach its present glory which is manifested in the satisfactory results of primary scholarship examination, Junior Scholarship examination and S.S.C Examination. It achieved the glory at becoming the greatest educational institution in the district of Gazipur in 2000 and in Gazipur Sadar in 2004 for it's wonderful results and excellent co-curriculam activities. Beside these institution started S.S.C Vocational section with the permision Board of Technical Education, Bangladesh in 2000 & this institution placed fourth in S.S.C (Vocational) result in 2004 and third in 2005. All Students studing at this school are our main energy to go ahead and they are also images of immerse possibilities. our principal duty is to nurse and guide them so as to make them fit to face the challenge of the future. To achieve our goal, we have included computer education in the syllabus and setup an excellent computers lab where students receive lessons on computers under the guidance of trained teachers. A rich library offers the students a mple opportunities to increase the domain of their knowledge. I heartily thank honourable chairman, co-chairman and members of the managing committee and all concerned educationists. Excellent leadership of the management Committee, sincere efforts of the assistant headmasters and teachers and other staff are our main driving force. I also thank honourable guardian whose co-operation & suggestion always inspire us to give our best to educate this children.
